Elizabeth Miksch - Week 1 HW

Transistor by Super Giant Games is my favorite game. With it’s hand painted art, great soundtrack, and a storyline that feels like a good book it quickly moved its way to the top of my list. Because the main character (Red) has no voice the story is developed in an unusual way. The companion character talks to Red and the only way to respond is when you access terminals. The powerups that you get are human souls. It has turn based fighting or live action depending on the way you play it. The thing that stands out most for me is the story line. When I finished the game I felt like I had just finished a book. It made me feel like there was a hole in my chest. However I am a sucker for sad endings.
