I’d like to say that I have a clear goal in mind, but I honestly don’t. I have a rough outline, but ultimately as long as I get a job in my field. I think I actually have clearer ideas of what I don’t want to do, due to trial and error over the years. All I do know is that I want to draw, paint, and make 3D models. I don’t care if that involves environments, characters, props, etc. I just want to do something. As I gain more experience and try new things I know I’ll be able to narrow things down and eventually settle into a place that makes me happy. There are very few things that I’ve had to do in my major that I’ve disliked, and most of that is due to just not having enough experience. Ultimately I’d be okay with doing anything regarding entertainment art. There are so many pros and cons to all the different things that I’m doing, that I’m confident I’ll be happy with anything. All I know for sure is that I want a nice desk with a comfortable chair. I’ve worked retail running around on my feet for 8 hour shifts, and I don’t want more of that.
