A game based on the Tortoise and the Hare in the style of Dishonored.
The game takes place in a fantastical version of the early 1900s. There is a regatta similar to the America’s Cup - a prestigious endurance race where a team of sailors will challenge the previous winners for the tgrophy. The story focuses on a father and son team, who have scratchbuilt a steam turbine powered racing vessel to compete with the record holding sporty Italian racing team. At first they are chided for their scrappy appearance and use of aging steam technology, but they win the race when the Italian team overheats and blows their engine near the finish line.
This will include character designs and the corresponding boat designs for the main characters, as well as environments for the various ports of call in the race.
